Gang bricklayer — Pocahontas County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Pocahontas County, Iowa. On a typical shift you will cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel. What we are looking for: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
