Vacancy available: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Nance County, Nebraska. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges You will monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter.
