Immediate opening: baker (Georgia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a baker in Lee County, Georgia. You will work at a café with an on-site bakery. Day to day you will boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer. What we are looking for: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Basic cake decorating and piping skills At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
