GTAW welder — Teungo

Immediate opening: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Teungo, Adamawa State. You will work at a busy fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer You should have: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
