Finish carpenter — Pike County

Now hiring: we are hiring a finish carpenter in Pike County, Indiana. Day to day you will apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet. You should have: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
