Immediate opening: backhoe operator (Colorado)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Elbert County, Colorado. You will be based at a drainage and utilities contractor. Your main tasks: • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs Ideal candidate: • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
