Precision welder — Van Wert County

Now hiring: we are hiring a precision welder in Van Wert County, Ohio. You will be based on an industrial construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints Ideal candidate: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
