Requirements: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium On the job you will handle: • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. ₦210,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
