Vacancy available: moulder (England)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a moulder in West Sussex, England. You will work at a brass and bronze foundry. The role involves: • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities Ideal candidate: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Basic grinding and fettling skills Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
