Restoration bricklayer • Solihull, England

Great opportunity: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Solihull, England. You will be based at a residential building site. The role involves: • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb You should have: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one 3+ years on the tools preferred.
