Argon welding operator wanted in Hardin County

Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Hardin County, Illinois. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding On a typical shift you will strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
