Toolroom milling operator — Giles County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Giles County, Tennessee. On the job you will handle: • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines Ideal candidate: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade 3+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
