Join our team: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Emmet County, Michigan. You should have: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles You will direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area. Full-time, day shift. We offer $4,100 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
