Sample machinist — Owsley County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sample machinist in Owsley County, Kentucky. The job is on a ready-made garment production line. Your main tasks: • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $4,700 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
