Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift erector in Dale County, Alabama. You will work at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. The role involves measure rope tension and check for broken strands; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear. What we are looking for: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics 2+ years on the tools preferred.
