Mining dozer operator — Copiah County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a mining dozer operator in Copiah County, Mississippi. You will work at an open-cast mine. Day to day you will clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin; maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site. Ideal candidate: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence Full-time, day shift.
