Foundry worker — Gwynedd

Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry worker in Gwynedd, Wales. The job is at an aluminium die-casting plant. The role involves cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle. Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Pay around £2,450 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
