Ironing operator wanted in Morris County

Join our team: we are hiring an ironing operator in Morris County, Kansas. You will be based at a dry cleaner's. Day-to-day duties: • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron Requirements: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
