Gas meter installer — Candler County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Candler County, Georgia. You will be based at a boiler and appliance service centre. On a typical shift you will check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply. What we are looking for: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious 1+ years on the tools preferred. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
