On a typical shift you will raise the alarm and follow the evacuation drill in an emergency; operate the boom barrier and check vehicles in and out; operate the metal detector and hand-held scanner at the door; respond to intrusion alarms and panic alerts; control crowds and manage queues at events and entry gates; keep watch on the perimeter fence and parking area.
