Now hiring: we are hiring a powder coating technician in Treasure County, Montana. Requirements: • Aware of PPE, respirator and fire-safety norms • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting The role involves: • Stack and pack finished parts without scratching the coat • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun • Run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches • Sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness Six days a week, one day off.
