Argon arc welder • Hamilton County, Texas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Hamilton County, Texas. The job is in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Day to day you will set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through. Requirements: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Pay around $200 per day, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
