Die-casting operator — Kanam

We are recruiting: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Kanam, Plateau State. Your main tasks: • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects What we are looking for: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Part-time with flexible hours. ₦110,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
