Now hiring: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Morgan County, Tennessee. On the job you will handle: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
