Tiling assistant • Sullivan County, New York

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Sullivan County, New York. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' hands-on tiling experience • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone Your main tasks: • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas • Fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even • Match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls • Run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line 2+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
