Argon welder • Power County, Idaho

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Power County, Idaho. You will work at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. On a typical shift you will tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Part-time with flexible hours.
