Now hiring: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Blanco County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Driving licence for travel between sites • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing 3+ years on the tools preferred.
