Immediate opening: lathe operator (Texas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lathe operator in Titus County, Texas. You will work in a CNC machine shop. Ideal candidate: • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage The role involves: • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Set up and start the machine as per the job card Rotating shifts.
