Groundworker — Amelia County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a groundworker in Amelia County, Virginia. The role involves: • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations You should have: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
