Elevator technician — Hardy County

Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator technician in Hardy County, West Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Run load and overload tests with test weights Requirements: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Valid driving licence for site call-outs Rotating shifts.
