Aluminium TIG welder — Kitsap County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Kitsap County, Washington. You will work on a structural steel site. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Day to day you will clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Share your details and we will call you back.
