Great opportunity: moulder (Edo)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a moulder in Ikpoba-Okha, Edo. You will work in the melting bay of a steel foundry. You should have: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Your main tasks: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
