Now hiring: we are hiring an escalator technician in McMinn County, Tennessee. You will carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; run load and overload tests with test weights. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
