We are recruiting: we are hiring a panel technician in Dubois County, Indiana. The job is in an insurance-approved repair centre. On a typical shift you will read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates; knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer; mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting; treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection; buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections. You should have: • Attention to detail and a clean, even finish • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage 6+ years on the tools preferred.
