Garment presser — Winona County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a garment presser in Winona County, Minnesota. You will be based in a tailoring workshop. What we are looking for: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment The role involves: • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Give each garment a final press before packing • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
