We are recruiting: we are hiring a groundworker in Jackson County, Minnesota. The job is on a building construction site. You should have: • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker The role involves clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
