Nursery worker wanted in Rockbridge County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a nursery worker in Rockbridge County, Virginia. The job is on the grounds of a hotel resort. On a typical shift you will apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
