Vertical milling machine operator — Wabash County

Join our team: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Wabash County, Indiana. You will work in a CNC machining unit. Day-to-day duties: • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Able to grind and set HSS cutters At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
