Groundworker — Stanton County

Now hiring: we are hiring a groundworker in Stanton County, Nebraska. You will work with a civil contractor. The role involves mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean. Requirements: • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
