Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welder in Brown County, South Dakota. You will work in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. You should have: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Day-to-day duties: • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
