Nursery worker — Gilmer County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a nursery worker in Gilmer County, West Virginia. You will be based at a landscaping company. Ideal candidate: • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish The role involves: • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $3,300 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
