Vacancy available: die-casting operator (England)

Join our team: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Shropshire, England. The job is at a busy iron foundry. On the job you will handle: • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges You should have: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
