We are recruiting: gang bricklayer (Virginia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Buckingham County, Virginia. The job is on a new-build development. On the job you will handle: • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters Requirements: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $140 per day, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
