Quality assurance assistant — Jackson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in Jackson County, Alabama. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. On the job you will handle: • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting What we are looking for: • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
