Great opportunity: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Leflore County, Mississippi. The job is at a neighbourhood confectionery. What we are looking for: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics On a typical shift you will roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe.
