Kitchen steward — Yates County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a kitchen steward in Yates County, New York. The job is in a hotel kitchen. You should have: • Basic food hygiene awareness (Level 2 certificate a plus) • Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen preferred The role involves keep the dish pit tidy, dry and slip-free throughout service; hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method; top up detergent and rinse aid and check wash and sanitise temperatures; help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room; polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass; mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
