Machine operator — Pike County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a machine operator in Pike County, Georgia. You will work in a CNC machine shop. The role involves: • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing Ideal candidate: • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
