Urgent requirement: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Island County, Washington. The job is at a drainage and utilities contractor. Your main tasks: • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds You should have: • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence Part-time with flexible hours.
