Immediate opening: backhoe loader operator (Kentucky)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in Taylor County, Kentucky. You will work on a busy construction site. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster Your main tasks: • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension Full-time with occasional weekends.
