Nursery worker — Menominee County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a nursery worker in Menominee County, Michigan. The role involves dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish Pay around $5,500 per month, based on your experience.
